More than 50 community leaders and customers attended the Equipment Depot grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at its newest branch location serving the Brazosport area. The facility is located at 113 West Murray in Angleton. Officials from the Brazosport Chamber of Commerce and the Angleton Chamber of Commerce attended the joint ribbon cutting. The festivities lasted from Noon until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 25. Fajitas were served all afternoon.
The former Southline Equipment Company, acquired by Equipment Depot in December 2005, has been serving the Brazosport area since 1990. Southline Equipment Company, a privately held forklift dealership, was acquired from the Biehl Company in Houston.
Individuals from the Brazosport area were invited to tour the facility and see what is new in equipment from Clark, Linde, Princeton, Doosan, Comblift, JLG and SkyTrak. Door prizes were awarded every hour and discounts on equipment were offered.
Equipment Depot, the Texas Equipment Superstore, offers a complete line of lift trucks, material handling equipment, industrial trucks, utility trucks, construction equipment, scissor lifts, telescopic booms, articulated knuckle booms, commercial mowers, tractors, agricultural equipment, haying equipment and attachments. Each dealership supports all its equipment with parts, service, rental, financing and training.
