Environmental Commitment

Equipment Depot Shares the Pon Commitment to Sustainability

As a member of the Pon companies world-wide, Equipment Depot shares in the corporate vision to promote sustainability in our communities. We have recently begun to identify new products and marketing opportunities to reduce our waste stream and support sustainable products..

Here are some of the environment initiatives we have undertaken:.

•We have reduced by 40% the number of printed mailings and newsletters we print and mail to customers. Whenever possible we use email to communicate promotional offers to our customers and prospects. •Whenever possible we specify that our printed materials be printed on FSC (Forest Stewarship Council) paper stocks.

We’ve also looked for new ways to engage our customers to support sustainability such as our “Buy One, Get One Tree” promotion for our New Holland farm tractors. .

We also work with our Original Equipment Manufacturers to be good environmental stewards for the products we sell. Last year we received an environment award from the Hawker Battery company recognizing our efforts to recycle used batteries. We also encourage and support our manufacturers to identify processes that support sustainability and reduce their waste streams. Those efforts are highlighted throughout this website on the brand pages of the products we represent.
