Narrow Aisle

Narrow-aisle units work in aisles that are typically 8 to 9 1/2 feet wide. Most configurations are stand-up riders, which increases productivity and operator comfort because their jobs typically require them to get on and off the machines often. Most narrow-aisle units reach as high as 30 1/2 feet and are capable of taking full-capacity loads as much as 38 percent higher than a similar-sized counter-balanced lift truck.

Order Picker

An order picker is a machine that raises the operator into the air with the load, to place stock into or retrieve stock from racking. The operator drives the machine from a fenced in drivers platform and wears a safety harness to keep them from falling out. Order pickers are driven like a forklift at low levels with loads usually stacked onto a pallet. By parking parallel to the pallet racking, operators can raise the pallet and drivers platform into the air to load or unload goods into high level racking bays.
