Manufacturing and Distribution Agreement with MCFA
On January 1, 2010, Jungheinrich entered into a manufacturing and distribution agreement for the North American market with Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklifts America Inc. (MCFA). Under the terms of the agreement, MCFA became the exclusive distributor of Jungheinrich®-branded warehouse products in the United States, Canada and Mexico beginning in 2010.
As part of the agreement Jungheinrich will design new products for the North American market to be manufactured by MCFA. Additionally, Jungheinrich will supply some Class 1 products for sale under the Cat® lift trucks brand and Class 3 products for sale under the Mitsubishi forklift trucks brand.
