Headquartered in Waco, Texas, Equipment Depot is a regional equipment company founded as Central Texas Clarklift in 1975. It changed its name to Equipment Depot in 1995 to better reflect the company’s brand expansion and additional product lines. Today, the company represents more than 30 industry leading manufacturers and its unique race truck service vans are a familiar sight throughout Texas.

It is an authorized dealer for Barrett, Caterpillar, Clark, CombiLift, Doosan, Drexel, Linde, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Noble and Princeton forklifts in various markets throughout its sales and service territory which includes 158 counties in Texas, 8 counties in southern Oklahoma and 2 parishes in western Louisiana. It sells, services, rents and provides parts for all types of forklifts and lift trucks, including cushion and pneumatic-tired models. Its product range includes sit-down electrics, narrow aisle order pickers and reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, walkies, warehouse and yard forklifts with gas, LP and diesel engines. It also represents Tiger utility vehicles, Green Machine on-road and off-road sweepers and Factory Cat sweepers and scrubbers.
Equipment Depot is also an authorized dealer for SkyTrak, Genie, JLG, Snorkel and Terex telehandlers, scissor lifts, aerial lifts and booms. It is also an authorized dealer for a full-line of light construction equipment and attachments built by New Holland, including backhoes, skid steers, mini-excavators, road graders and wheel loaders, as well as Boxer walk-behind trenchers .
Equipment Depot’s tractor divisions in Waco and Austin, Texas, sell and service a complete line of agricultural equipment and attachments manufactured by New Holland, Woods, Bush Hog and Bell-Tec.
Equipment Depot has more than 650 employees throughout Texas, including more than 270 factory trained service technicians. It offers 24/7 equipment service from more than 170 radio-dispatched service vehicles. It has service programs and planned maintenance agreements for more than 11,500 customer-owned units. In addition, it stocks parts for all brands at its equipment superstores and provides forklift and aerial operator safety training. Equipment Depot also has an Engineered Products division that specializes in consulting, designing, engineering and implementing warehouse and factory racking and systems.
Equipment Depot, the Texas Equipment Superstore, offers a complete line of lift trucks, forklifts, material handling equipment, industrial trucks, systems, racking, cantilever rack, utility trucks, construction equipment, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, man lifts, telescopic booms, articulated knuckle booms, commercial mowers, tractors, agricultural equipment, haying equipment and attachments. Each dealership supports all its equipment with parts, service, rental, financing and training.
As part of its recent growth, Equipment Depot has acquired a number of successful material handling companies including ClarkLift of Ft. Worth, Powr-Lift of Dallas, Powr-Lift of Sherman, Southline Equipment Company, Bailey Forklift of Dallas, Bill Pease & Sons of San Antonio as well as four branches of Mustang Equipment. In addition, certain business segments of Equipment Depot have previously used the trade names ProLift, Cen-Tex Ford New Holland, Austin Ford Tractor and ProLift Wholesale.
Equipment Depot is part of Pon North America (PNA), one of the largest material handling networks in the country. PNA has three other operating companies in the United States: Equipment Depot in Illinois; Portman Equipment in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia; and LeveeLift in Indiana and Kentucky. PNA is a division of Pon Holdings, the largest privately held company in the Netherlands.
