Michael Hume
Regional Vice President, Northeast
Michael Hume serves as the Regional Vice President of the Northeast region. Prior to joining Equipment Depot in November 2021, Michael was the President of Uptime Solutions, LLC, a predictive maintenance solutions company focused on industrial and manufacturing industries.
Throughout his career, Michael has led several companies through times of turnaround and guided them into periods of significant growth. His leadership style centers on treating his team members with respect and appreciation as they work together through challenges. Michael continuously works to create a culture of camaraderie and it is that attitude that helped him and senior leadership transform a $20-million US company into a $180-million global leader.
Michael attended Babson College and earned a bachelor's degree in International Business as well as his MBA. He takes pride in always balancing a heavy workload with family, and in his free time, Michael enjoys playing golf and tennis, traveling, and watching Boston sports.
