A: A Planned Maintenance contract covers the cost of regularly scheduled inspection and maintenance visits. A Total Maintenance & Repair plan is more comprehensive. A TM&R plan includes all scheduled PMs and wear-and-tear repairs for a single, fixed monthly price. This protects you from unexpected costs for things like a failed starter or a hydraulic leak.

Q: Can I get a TM&R plan for equipment I already own?

A: Yes. While the majority of our TM&R plans are for new equipment we sell, we can absolutely build a plan for your existing fleet, no matter what type or brands of forklifts and aerial lifts you use. For new customers with existing fleets, Equipment Depot performs a thorough analysis to assess your equipment’s current usage and condition to create the right plan for you.

Q: How does Equipment Depot help me track my fleet’s performance?

A: We believe in total transparency. For all TM&R customers, Equipment Depot conducts quarterly account reviews to discuss fleet performance. We use data from our internal and telematics systems to show you spend per unit, hour usage, and other key metrics. This data helps us partner with you to make smart decisions that promote productivity and cost efficiency for your business.

Q: Will I have the same technician for every service visit?

A: Our goal is to provide a dedicated technician for your service calls. Having a consistent technician who understands your specific equipment and operation is a significant advantage for our customers. If we can’t send your dedicated technician, Equipment Depot will proactively contact you to reschedule your service visit or offer you a different technician.
