Thank you for choosing Equipment Depot for your forklift training and certification. Please read the information below to determine your next steps.

These training courses consist of two sessions:

PART 1: WEBINAR SESSION & ONLINE EXAM

Students can view the webinar at any time, but it must be accessed from a computer, laptop, Chromebook, or a similar device. If you try to access the webinar from a cell phone or tablet, the webinar will not work. To access the webinar, click on the button below, click the play button, and answer a few registration questions. The webinar will last about 2 hours and 45 minutes, including a 15 minute break in the middle. It must be viewed from start to finish and cannot be paused.

Please review the ‘Training Handbook’ and the ‘Pre-Op Inspection’ documents. These documents help students follow the class and complete the online exam. When the webinar ends, students will be directed to the online test. A score of 80% or better is required to advance to Part 2 of the training.

PART 2: IN-PERSON DRIVING EVALUATION

The driving evaluation can be taken at Equipment Depot or at your facility. If you do not have an evaluation date scheduled, make sure to call our training manager, Mark Erlebach, at (503) 209‑1021. The length of the driving evaluation will vary depending on the type of training:

• Forklift Certification – For experienced forklift operators who need certification (20-30 minute review and driving test)
• Forklift 101 for Beginners – For new drivers or experienced operators who are learning how to drive a new type of forklift. (60–75 minutes of one-on-one training)

PART 1: ONLINE EXAM

Re-certification is for operators who were previously trained by Equipment Depot, formerly Norlift of Oregon. The webinar is optional, but if you would like to view it again, see the information above. If you would like to opt out of the webinar, click the re-certification test button below. A score of 80% or better is required to advance to Part 2 of the re-certification.

PART 2: IN-PERSON DRIVING EVALUATION
