Vice President of Transformation
As Vice President of Transformation at Equipment Depot, Derrick leads the company’s strategy and technology teams. He guides the development and execution of enterprise improvement projects, enabling scalable growth while consistently enhancing customer experiences. By incorporating technology enhancements and driving continuous process improvement, Derrick enables Equipment Depot to operate efficiently as an industry leading material handling and warehouse solutions provider.
Previously, Derrick served as Equipment Depot’s Director of Transformation, overseeing the design and implementation of key initiatives supporting the corporate strategy and objectives. He also integrated the strategy and technology teams, fostering the synergy needed to deliver critical solutions that improve how the company serves its customers.
Prior to joining Equipment Depot, Derrick worked as a Director at global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal. During his tenure, he led multiple large-scale transformation projects across a range of industries, including the creation of a Program Management Office for an oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company, as well as merger planning and acquisitions integration for a $1.5 billion oil and gas services company.
Derrick graduated from the United States Military Academy with a degree in American History. After graduating from West Point, he served for seven years in the US Army as a field artillery officer, and was awarded a bronze star for his services in Iraq. Derrick enjoys spending time with his family, especially outdoor activities such as camping, skiing and attending sporting events.
